The BLM is partnering with the National Forest Foundation and Chaffee Rec Adopters to install designated campsites in the Shavano area on August 4. Improved management of camping is a major aspect of the camping management initiative of the Chaffee Rec Council. Lunch is provided. Volunteers will be joined by staff from the BLM, USFS, and AHRA. Lunch will be provided.
We will be digging holes and secure campsite posts, attaching tent markers, reseeding and creating barriers.
The GOCO Board of Directors will visit the site and Ford Bronco will be present!
