Description

The Canopy Foundation is looking for volunteers to help capture the stories, people, and moments that make our nonprofit community so special.

This is a fun, flexible opportunity for anyone who enjoys taking photos. No professional experience required. Whether you use your phone or a camera, your photos can make a real difference in helping local nonprofits share their impact.

You might take photos at a community event, a volunteer day, or simply capture everyday moments that reflect life in Chaffee County. If you like being out and about and noticing meaningful moments, this is a great way to give back.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take photos (and optional short videos) at nonprofit events or around the community

  • Capture real, candid moments: people, places, and activities

  • Share your photos with the Canopy Foundation to support local nonprofits

How Your Photos Help:
Many nonprofits don’t have access to strong visuals. Your photos will be used on websites, social media, and outreach materials to help organizations tell their stories and connect with the community.

Who This Is For:

  • Anyone who enjoys taking photos, no experience needed

  • People who want a simple, creative way to volunteer

  • Community members who like attending events or exploring around town

Time Commitment:
Totally flexible. We’ll share opportunities, and you can participate whenever it works for you.

Why It Matters:
A single photo can help a nonprofit share its mission, inspire support, and grow its impact. Your perspective and creativity can help bring those stories to life.
