Salida Aspen Concerts

For over 40 years, Salida Concerts, Inc. has produced world-class classical music concerts (contracted through the Aspen School and Music Festival) at affordable prices, including free tickets for K-12 students.

We develop younger audiences through our student passport program, Longfellow Elementary School concerts, and teacher grants for music lessons and supplies. Concerts are presented in the Salida High School Auditorium and the Salida Steam Plant Event Center. 

Always appreciative, our enthusiastic audiences bring performers like Joyce Yang and the American Brass Quintet back to Salida every year.

Salida Concerts provides the venue and audience for the concerts. Aspen provides a wide variety of world-famous musicians performing memorable concerts here in Salida and Buena Vista. These concerts begin in early July and run every Saturday for six weeks. We additionally host a special fundraising concert in February. Past performers have included: Joyce Yang, Anton Nel, Reneé Fleming, Edgar Meyer, Colin Davin, William Hagen, American Brass Quintet, Pacifica Quartet, Orli Shaham, the Ajax Quartet, and William Chen. 

Volunteers are critical to a successful season with needs including: Usher, Box Office, Greeters, Children’s programming, Page-turner for pianists, Poster distribution, Proofreader of program, After concert party host, Ad Sales for the Program Book, and Overnight accommodations for performers.
