Places to Age

Places to Age is a 501C 3 non profit committed to bringing Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities to Chaffee County. The need for such continuum of care is very evident with over 27% of our county population over the age of 65 and no such housing with support services currently available. Lead by an 8 person volunteer board Places to Age has acquired 8 acres of land for our Phase One building and are in the process of hiring an architectural firm expert in senior housing to design a 60 unit building that will provide independent living, assisted living and memory care units. 

Places to Age is taking the lead to build continuum of care facilities in Chaffee County so those that have chosen to call this home can remain in this community. Facilities will provide a variety of care levels for residents plus activities that the whole community can participate in.
