Event Support Floaters serve as flexible, go-to volunteers throughout the day. This role is perfect for someone who is observant, proactive, and comfortable stepping in wherever support is needed. From helping presenters get settled to answering participant questions or troubleshooting small issues before they become big ones, floaters help create a seamless experience for everyone.
Each breakout session room will have a designated floater to provide light support — assisting with room transitions, timekeeping, materials, wayfinding, and quick problem-solving. Floaters may also help staff with last-minute adjustments, supply runs, or guest needs.
If you enjoy thinking on your feet, staying one step ahead, and being part of a collaborative team, this role is a great fit.
What to expect:
-
Moving throughout the venue during your shift
-
Supporting workshop facilitators and attendees
-
Light problem-solving and clear communication with staff
-
A dynamic, fast-paced environment
Your flexibility and initiative help ensure Summit participants can focus fully on learning, connection, and strengthening our nonprofit community.
