Annual Arkansas River Green Up Clean Up & Colorado Public Lands Day.

Select a location in the Arkansas River Watershed (from Granite to Cotopaxi) to pick up trash.
Check-in & Get Supplies:
Check in at the AHRA Visitor Center in Salida (307 W Sackett) or Buena Vista Community Center (715 E Main St) from 8:30-9:30am if you need supplies and to get your volunteer lunch ticket! American Rivers is providing trash bags for volunteers. (Or you can start anytime at your selected location if you don't need supplies.)
Trash Drop-Off:
Trash can be taken to South Ark property between 10am-2pm and at the BV Community Center until 1pm. Trash can also be left behind the welcome sign at any AHRA-managed site.
Volunteer Picnic Lunch:
AHRA and GARNA for a Volunteer Picnic from noon-1pm at the South Ark (Vandaveer) property in Salida or Buena Vista Community Center. The City of Salida will also be hosting its annual Touch-a-Truck event from 10am-2pm at South Ark.

Access on CR 104. Take HWY 50 south of Salida and turn right on CR 104. Park in the designated area.
