We are looking for volunteers to person an informational booth at the Buena Vista City Market on Hwy 24. This person will collect donations, names and email addresses for our newsletter and for volunteers. We are simply telling folks about our mission as a nonprofit farm to grow nutritious vegetables for donation to Coloradoans in need, and that we donate an average of #100,000 of produce to food banks and senior centers every year. That our farm is 15 acres on Hwy 291 in Salida, across from the Scanga Meat sign.
City Market has us there because we are the recipient of $1.00 of every reusable bag sold for the month of April. This is their Zero Hunger/Zero Waste program.
Laurie and Carlo will set up the booth for you and take it down when you're done.
